Calvin Davies
The Research Pharmacist Behind dermaglow Beauty, Skin and Health Care ProductsCalvin Davies, the research pharmacist responsible for the development of natural beauty and skin care range dermaglow, was born in Wales. He is a UK registered Pharmacist and has a MSc. in Pharmaceutical Technology from Kings College, London. He has worked in the Pharmaceutical field for over 25 years. His work has taken him to most countries where prescription and over the counter medicines are sold. He has worked in hospital pharmacy, and in Governmental Regulation of Medicines (The UK Medicines Control Agency). However most of his working career has been in the pharmaceutical industry where he has held numerous positions: Research Pharmacist with Upjohn, England; International Technical Director, Generics UK; VP Technical Affairs, Genpharm Inc., Canada; VP Business Development, Genpharm Inc.
In 2000, Calvin formed VitalScience, with a mandate of developing and marketing natural beauty, skin and health care products. VitalScience offers a new challenge for Calvin, but he soon realised the disciplines in the Pharmaceutical and health, skin and beauty industry are essentially the same. dermaglow beauty, skin and health care products have been developed to a high standard and packaging is compatible with the product as well as being convenient to use and aesthetically pleasing to the consumer. These are disciplines very familiar to Calvin. Calvin has formed an experienced team at Vital Science from the beauty, skin and health care industries in the disciplines of products development, marketing and sales, and operations.
Calvin has now taken up Canadian citizenship and lives in Ontario with his wife and three children. He continues to be actively involved in the development and design of dermaglow beauty, skin and health care products.
